Summer in the city:  STUDIO Gallery's annual cityscape show features work from an urban point of view, everything from neighborhood Victorians to downtown skyscrapers, with a few landmarks just for fun.  The show includes work from over two dozen local artists:  paintings from Lindsey Kustusch, Jonathan Ahn, Lana Purnell, David Cheifetz, Xiau-Fong Wee, Scott Grabowski, Michael Chamberlain, Felicia Forte, Matias Salas, Jesse Mangerson, Erica Pollock-Norelius, Sonja Navin, Alan Mazzetti, Zue Acker, Patricia Araujo, and Colleen Proppe, mixed media pieces from Paige Ferguson-Tritt, etchings by Alice Gibbons, photos by Pep Ventosa, Barbara Wyeth and Thomas Shearer, prints from Katie Gilmartin, Niana Liu, Linda Pedersen and Alyson Thomas, 3D photo collages by Jackson Fahnestock, new bone boxes by L. Maude Kirk, drawings from Elizabeth Ashcroft and Samuel Brantley, and even a reclaimed book clock from Jim Rosenau.  This year there's a lot of color--an excellent antidote to the summertime fog.  We'll continue to add names and photos as the pieces arrive, but here's a sneak peek

I will be showing 2 paintings featuring the facade building of the Warfield Theatre and rooftop view in SoMa.

Below are pics from the opening!
