Behind the Marriott presents the back side of the building of San Francisco's Marriott Hotel of 4th and Mission Streets. In front of the Marriott is another building in red concrete walls dominating the composition, in abstracted forms.

The Marriott Hotel is one of my favorite buildings to look at while walking in downtown SoMa and have enjoyed painting. This hotel rises 39 stories high in the skyline. The building has different looks while viewing from a far. It may look like a jukebox . It may have a robotic influence too, can be also seen as an Egyptian Sphinx! The best thing once inside this hotel is visiting its top floor where the restaurant is at, and while there take a look at the magnificent view of the city.
